How GTA 6 mods are categorized

Every mod on GTAModding.net belongs to one of 10 main categories. Categories make it easy for you to find what you're looking for and allow mod creators to focus on their desired market. Here's a breakdown of each category:

Gameplay-changing categories

GTA 6 script mods and player mods are gameplay modifiers. Script mods add new systems (police, economy, NPCs). Player mods replace character models, clothing and ped variations.

World-building categories

GTA 6 map mods and GTA 6 vehicle modsmodify the game's world content. Map mods place buildings, districts and interiors. Vehicle packs add cars, bikes, planes and boats.

Visual categories

GTA 6 texture mods, UI / menu mods and audio mods are cosmetic. Texture packs give surfaces a higher resolution. UI mods declutter the HUD. Audio mods swap out sound effects and music.

Combat categories
