How we handle mod purchases, why all sales are final, and how we protect you before you buy.
All sales are final
Because GTA 6 mods are digital files delivered instantly through our CDN, all sales become final the moment the download begins. This is standard practice for digital goods marketplaces - once the file is on your device, it can't be "returned."

Every mod shows screenshots, video walkthroughs where available, feature lists and install notes so you know exactly what you're buying.
Ratings & reviews
Community ratings come from verified buyers only. Read what other modders think before you commit.
Malware-scanned
Every upload is scanned for malware, broken installs and licensing violations before it's published.
Creator track record
Every creator has a public profile - mod count, average rating, download count and tier level - so you know you're buying from a trusted author.
When we do make exceptions
We credit your account (in platform store credit) in these narrow situations:
- Malware detected post-purchase - if a file is flagged for malicious code after sale, the creator is banned and affected buyers are credited in full.
- Duplicate accidental purchase - if you clearly double-purchased the same mod within a short window by accident.
- Mod fundamentally misrepresented - the listing promises one thing and delivers something unrelated. Contact support with evidence.
- File corruption on delivery - if the archive is corrupted and the creator doesn't ship a fix within 7 days.
In each case the remedy is an account credit applied to your GTAModding.net balance, usable on any future purchase - never a chargeback or cash refund.
How to report a bad mod
- Click Report on the mod page.
- Select the reason (malware, misrepresentation, corrupted files, IP violation).
- Attach any screenshots or logs.
- Our trust team reviews reports within 24 hours.
Chargebacks result in account termination
Fraudulent chargebacks on digital goods are taken seriously. Accounts that issue chargebacks instead of contacting support are permanently terminated and all downloaded mods revoked.
