How we protect you before you buy

Full previews

Every mod shows screenshots, video walkthroughs where available, feature lists and install notes so you know exactly what you're buying.

Ratings & reviews

Community ratings come from verified buyers only. Read what other modders think before you commit.

Malware-scanned

Every upload is scanned for malware, broken installs and licensing violations before it's published.

Creator track record

Every creator has a public profile - mod count, average rating, download count and tier level - so you know you're buying from a trusted author.

What you accept when you purchase

By completing checkout you acknowledge that GTA 6 mods are user-generated content and that you are solely responsible for the outcome of installing them. You waive any right to a refund, chargeback or reversal in the following situations:

  • The mod doesn't install or work on your specific setup - hardware, OS, game version, mod load order, conflicts with other installed mods, missing prerequisites, or any technical issue you can't resolve.
  • The mod stops working after a future GTA 6 update - Rockstar patches routinely break mods. The creator may or may not ship a compatibility update. Either way, no refund.
  • You changed your mind, didn't read the description, or expected something different - screenshots, feature lists, version numbers and compatibility tags are shown on every mod page before purchase.
  • The creator stops maintaining the mod - past versions remain available in your library forever; future updates aren't guaranteed.
  • You uninstalled, deleted or lost the file - you can re-download from your library at any time, no refund applies.
  • The mod "feels" lower quality than expected - quality is subjective; we provide ratings and reviews to help you judge before buying.
  • You bought it for a server or community use case that the mod author didn't advertise.

You agree to contact support first for any issue and not to initiate a chargeback or payment dispute through your bank or card issuer without giving us a chance to investigate. Filing a chargeback without contacting support violates these terms and results in immediate account termination (see the box at the bottom of this page).

When we do make exceptions

We credit your account (in platform store credit) in these narrow situations:

  • Malware detected post-purchase - if a file is flagged for malicious code after sale, the creator is banned and affected buyers are credited in full.
  • Duplicate accidental purchase - if you clearly double-purchased the same mod within a short window by accident.
  • Mod fundamentally misrepresented - the listing promises one thing and delivers something unrelated. Contact support with evidence.
  • File corruption on delivery - if the archive is corrupted and the creator doesn't ship a fix within 7 days.

In each case the remedy is an account credit applied to your GTAModding.net balance, usable on any future purchase - never a chargeback or cash refund.
