Game crashes on startup after installing texture mod

Installed a 4K vehicle texture pack and now my game won't even reach the main menu - crashes about 5 seconds after the loader.

Setup:

GTA 6 build version (current as of this morning)
Tried with and without script hook
Mod is a single .ytd replacement, not multiple

What I've tried:

Verifying game files (didn't fix)
Removing the .ytd (game launches fine)
Reading the mod page comments (others report it works for them)

Anyone seen this? Suspecting it's a memory issue but I don't have a memory extender installed yet. Worth installing one for a single texture replacement?

EDIT: Solved - was running out of stream memory. Memory extender installed, mod loads fine. Leaving this up so the next person hitting the same wall can find it.
