Hot take incoming. In my opinion, GTA IV is the most underrated installment.
Got slammed on release for the desaturated color scheme and slower gameplay, but rewatching playthroughs in 2026, IV is easily the most coherent story-wise. The driving feel is certainly different - heavier than V's more arcade-y handling - but IV's weight makes you care about the chases.
Tell me where I'm wrong. Which GTA would you defend the most?
