Just shipped my first paid pack - 12 vehicles loosely modeled on 80s American iron, all with hand-tuned handling files. Roughly 3 months of weekend work.
What's in it:
- 4 sedans, 3 coupes, 2 muscle cars, 2 SUVs/wagons, 1 pickup
- Each with proper interiors, working dashboards, taillights, damage deformation
- Authentic-feeling handling - heavy at the wheel, slow off the line, drift-prone in the rain
- Both add-on and replace variants
- Engine sounds re-recorded from real-world reference
Lessons learned:
- Handling tuning took longer than the modeling. Genuinely.
- File-size budget is real - I had to drop one vehicle to stay under 650 MB
- Naming the pack matters more than I expected. Final name landed only after the third revision.
Would love feedback from anyone who picks it up. Especially on handling - I want it to feel period-correct, not just slow.
