FiveM is the de-facto multiplayer modding framework for GTA - private servers, custom game modes, full roleplay communities, persistent economies. FiveM mods on this site are the resources you stream to a FiveM server: fxmanifest-ready scripts, ESX and QBCore-compatible jobs, custom car / ped packages, dispatch backends, anti-cheat hooks.

Note: FiveM is the GTA 5 multiplayer framework. The GTA 6 equivalent is likely going to be called SixM when it ships. Existing FiveM creators are being early about pre-tagging mods with both so they're discoverable on day one of the new framework.

What is FiveM?
A multiplayer modification framework for GTA that lets server operators run private servers with custom game modes, scripts, and player counts well above what GTA Online supports. The bulk of the GTA roleplay community runs on FiveM.
Is FiveM legal?
Yes. FiveM runs on private servers separate from official Rockstar services - it doesn't interact with or modify GTA Online. Take-Two has tolerated it for years. Don't confuse FiveM mods with mods loaded in GTA Online directly - the latter is an instant ban.
What's the difference between ESX and QBCore?
Both are FiveM roleplay frameworks - ESX is the older, more established one; QBCore is a more modern alternative with cleaner code. Most modern RP servers run QBCore. Mods are usually built for one or the other (some support both).
